Wire Lace Workshop with Wacky Women

Well, not wacky women, I just wanted to have a title with most of the words starting with a W.  They were all quite wonderful and extremely patient.  I guess I could've used "wonderful" instead!

Our class was on learning a new wire lace earring design. So, please, honor copyright laws as I share a picture of my original design.  If you would like a pattern of my design, feel free to contact me or come to one of my classes in Boise.  You can find out what and when I'll be teaching next at
Here are the brave ladies who persevered with me through the class.  I know they all look so serious in these pictures, but we did laugh a lot, too!  I love how each person brought a unique "eye" to the project and the colors they chose were beautiful.

Okay, everyone look over here!
Do I need to beg?
Stretching is very important while beading!

I so enjoyed this class and hoped all the ladies did as well.  These earrings generally take more time to complete than class time allows so, they all had homework.   I can't wait to see the results the next time I'm in Boise.  Here are a couple of pictures of what they started.

The gold and green really pop together.

Blues and greens with a little shimmer are perfect for summer.

I hope to be able to post some pictures of earrings these talented ladies made very soon!  In the meantime here is a little "eye candy" from Eileen Barker's store Bead Street.

Czech beads a plenty!
Seed bead buffet, Las Vegas size!
Eileen Barker, Bead Street owner and bead afficianado!
If you live in the Boise area and have always wanted to learn how to bead, come in and spend time with us!  My next class will be on Saturday, April 28th.  You can find out more at

Blessings to you all!
